Homecoming 2021 Highlights

In spite of Covid restrictions on campus, the Phi Phi alumni were able to gather for our annual meeting (in person and virtually) and enjoy refreshments before and after the football game. To capture the undergraduate update from our meeting, please CLICK HERE.

During our meeting, we presented awards from funds created by Phi Phi members who believe in giving back to the Alpha Chi Rho Brotherhood through scholarships.

The fund created by James W. Rappaport ’77 made its first award in 2008. The scholarship is awarded every fall and is based on academic excellence, financial need, and participation in on-campus and off-campus activities. In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must be full-time students at the University of Pennsylvania, must be in good standing with the University and the Fraternity, and shall be moving successfully toward completion of academic coursework.

The 2021 Rappaport Scholarship winners are:
Francis Ragsdale – $4,000
Criston Young – $3,000

The fund created by Fred Sanfilippo ’70 and his son Joseph ’11 made its first award in 2015. The award shall be granted annually to an enrolled full time student working to earn his degree that will enable him to pursue a career in the field of healthcare.

The 2021 Sanfilippo Scholarship winners are:

Kaleb Hargrove – $4,000
Eashan Sahai – $2,000
